Jacob, fathers_scolding.mov
Jacob is the main protagonist in ACT I of CDarchive. Years after the death of his father, Jacob decides to investigate a strange CD Demo version of ROBLOX. He soon encounters an entity within the disc, claiming to be him.
Appearance[]
In ACT I, Jacob uses the default preset avatar in the ROBLOX installer demo. His head is brick yellow, using the default ROBLOX face. His body sports a pastel violet torso, with his limbs being a darker color. His arms are navy blue. and his legs are bright violet respectively.
Personality[]
Jacob had a reputation of not being the most social kid. His shyness and in-general introverted nature stunted his social skills, preventing him from having any strong connections other than a handful. Even as a teenager, he wasn't exactly able to grow out of this mindset, despite D3TECTIVE’s efforts to pull Jacob out of it. His only proper ties were his parents, D3TECTIVE, and his aforementioned late friend in middle school. Contradictory to his softer traits, he can be surprisingly stubborn and uncooperative, whether it be intentionally or not.
Jacob is also unfortunately quite naive and may be trusting, falling some manipulation tactics, specifically by Father, who pretended to be a close person and played on his grief, immersing and overshadowing Jacob's life with one CD disc. He became quieter, and his love for his father even made him believe in the spirit within the game and the ability to join his loved one, which led to his death.
Biography[]
Jacob was born sometime in 2008. Not much is known about his early childhood other than having a fairly good (and heavily dependent) relationship with his parents, along with being closed-off socially. He may have moved several times, maybe two times, because the house in water_grave.mov and the one in storefronts.mov are both different houses.
Unexpectedly during this, his father had gotten into a devastating car-crash, which took his life. This left Jacob with only his mother, along with a singular friend in middle school; Said friend also passed, though for reasons unknown. At some point after (or during) his friend's passing, he met and befriended Lucas, who was his friend until the end, and whom he often liked to spend time with.
One day, on his front door he finds a strange CD with presumably the spirit of his own dad, which makes his mental state worse. About the same time, his mother started to go missing for some days, that couldn't be not noticed by her son, making him more dependent on the Father's spirit, until he succumbs to the demon from the game and commits suicide with a shotgun. At the time of his death, he was a high school student. [1]

In JACOB'S CAMERA, it's shown that:
- Jacob had a photography hobby when he was little.
- Jacob had a difficult time holding onto his camera, resulting in blurry pictures.
- Visited his childhood mall often with his parents.
- One of the stores sold very intricate plushies. Unfortunately, they were too expensive and was unable to obtain any.
- Jacob had gone on a nature hike with D3TECTIVE's family during their yearly visit to D3T's grandparent's cabin once.
- Jacob might be a fan of the "Pikmin" series, due to him trying to emulate Pikmin 2 on his pc
